Mya is a beautiful Border Collie ,only 18 months old. Being a Border Collie she is VERY High energy and loves to play. She will need to go to a home with good Border Collie Experience and MUST do Obedience or possibly dog dancing to get the best out of this gorgeous girl. She would be too easily side tracked for agility or fly-ball. She is not good with young kids due to being boisterous and nippy at times. She’s not good with cats or other dogs yet, this would need a lot of work. For now she needs LOADS of one to one care with no other pets and to be an only dog. She is a lovely girl at heart, just needs to be kept busy. She has made great progress here but still needs a lot of time spent training with the right person that understands her needs and can give her a forever home.
Update Feb 26th:
Mya continues to make great progress with the training given to her by the team here at faith. She does very well having little time out periods where she can actually just relax and not be worried about the other dogs for a little while. She will now sit next to the staff while other dogs walk past out on walks and really enjoys toy play in the sand school. She really thrives on having something to do and loves spending some time in the office helping Kev in the mornings..
