Max is an adorable 10 years young Collie Cross. A perky 12 years old he still has a lot to give and is a gentle loving lad. Max is fully house trained and still likes to go on an amble with his people.
He gets on with some other dogs but would really prefer to live alone with his human family. He doesn’t like cats at all. He travels well and can be left for a few hours at a time.
Max can start to guard his house and people if he is allowed, this can turn into barking and chasing but if kept strongly in check would not pose a problem.
He really needs to find his retirement home with the right sort of people, he still likes to walk and is very active so prospective owners will need to be the same. He would suit an active senior couple very well but we would insist that any prospective owner has Collie experience and a good understanding of the breed and its needs.
