Benji – This happy chappy is a 3 year old terrier cross. He’s full of affection and loves to play. He gets on well with other dogs, Children would have to be over 14 yrs but shows a little too much interest in cats to be homed with them.
He would be a great family companion, though he would try and rule the roost and be in charge and would enjoy doing any sort of obedience/behavioral training. For anymore information please call the rescue.
Update – 19th June 19
Benji is still here poor boy. We have learned that he can be wary of new situations so he needs time to get to know his new owners so that he can trust them to help with his confidence of new experiences. He would snap if faced with the wrong situation too soon. Benji will bark at other dogs on the lead but this is manageable with training. He has learned not to do that here and hopefully this can be carried over into his new home. Benji needs an adult only household with no other pets and good strong fencing at least 5 foot high
Update – 1st March 19
Benji continues to improve and took part in the training session for staff and dogs this week. He was on of the best dogs in the session listening well to commands and ignoring the other dogs the majority of the time. With proper training this would continue to improve.
