How to Help

Volunteer

Help is needed at the Rescue centre, caring for the animals – cleaning cat cabins, walking dogs, mucking out etc. Also general maintenance and tidying of the Rescue such as; painting, wood preserving, ground work, digging, clearing woodland and many more tasks.

Home checkers are needed in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, South and West Norfolk.

We also need volunteers for store collections as we have to rely on the same few. People who are willing to take and man an information stall at local fetes and events to help spread awareness of our charity.

Visit our pet shop

At the rescue we have our own little Charity Pet Shop, selling a range of items for your four-legged friends. Leads, collars, beds, toys, treats, coats, bowls, accessories and lots more!

Donations for the shop are always very welcome during opening hours (11-3pm) but please do not leave goods outside the rescue out of hours.

Fundraising

Every year we are so grateful that people do things to raise money in aid of FAITH. These range from the popular, like having a car boot sale or cake bake, to the more daring like obstacle courses and mountain treks! Every penny helps and however you choose to raise funds for us just remember to have fun doing it.

Below are a few ideas for things you can do to raise funds for the animals in our care:

  • Sponsored silences
  • Sponsored walk or run
  • Car boot sales
  • Bake sales
  • Shave your head
  • Give up smoking

Your imagination is the limit!

Leave a legacy

In the UK Inheritance Tax is charged at 40% on the value of assets above £325,000.  So if an estate value is £360,000, by leaving £35,000 to Charity,  Inheritance Tax is not charged – the Charity is gifted instead of the Inland Revenue.

If you do not make a will and have no family then your estate will go to the government and I promise you that we could make better use of your legacy and we would make every penny count.

Legacies and Bequests are our future, our strength and our chance to change the animal world for the better.  Where there is a will, there is a way.  F.A.I.T.H. has grown from a small acorn into a strong sapling, we need to grow into a mighty oak sheltering thousands beneath our canopy, changing and improving animal welfare.
